A SMARTER START TO THE DAY

No connected coffee maker required.

By watching how much power your machine draws, BrewSense works out what it’s doing: brewing, dripping, warming or off. It also estimates how many cups you’ve made, so Home Assistant knows when there’s fresh coffee waiting.

01

Know what’s brewing.

Off, brewing, dripping or warming. BrewSense follows the machine’s power draw to keep Home Assistant in the loop.

02

Fresh coffee, on cue.

A coffee-available sensor turns on when the coffee is ready and stays on for a configurable time after the machine switches off. Use it to announce that a fresh pot is waiting.

03

Count the cups.

See estimated cups for the current session, this month and last month, plus your monthly average.

04

Keep the switch.

Turn the machine on and off from Home Assistant through the smart plug you already have.

05

Make it your brew.

Adjust the brew power threshold, seconds per cup, drip delay and how long coffee counts as available, any time from the integration’s Configure button.

INSTALL WITH HACS

A few steps.
Then make it yours.

You’ll need Home Assistant 2025.1.0 or newer and HACS installed.
